 Rube & Rake bring warmth, wit, and finely crafted songs to the stage in an intimate evening at The Abbey. With roots stretching from Prince George, BC to St. John’s, NL, Josh Sandu and Andrew Laite weave rich harmonies, tender melodies, playful guitar and banjo into a sound both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Expect heartfelt ballads, sharp storytelling, and moments of humour that make the room feel like a gathering of old friends. Rube & Rake invite listeners into songs that explore home, time, and the spaces between duty and desire.

Recognized with a 2022 East Coast Music Award for Songwriter of the Year, the duo is now touring with their third album, Good Time After Bad.
